Brian Ulibarri

I’m Brian Ulibarri—a father, husband, and Christian originally from New Mexico, and a tattoo artist based in Denver.

I started out in 2006 at a street shop, doing whatever design walked through the door. Today, my work has evolved into a fine art practice anchored in surrealism. I specialize in portraits and merging strange, sci-fi-inspired imagery, while carrying a deep love for the New Mexican Chicano art style.

I view my clients as collectors commissioning a unique piece of art. Whether a concept naturally calls for vibrant color or classic, high-contrast black and grey, I design the artwork to flow with the body's natural musculature. It becomes a permanent, living expression built to age gracefully.

Beyond tattooing, my art practice continues on traditional canvas using ballpoint pen, oils, watercolors, and colored pencils.
